That's exactly what it is. Capitalism at it's finest, and they're finding new and potentially profitable markets. Their stock went up 70 cents today in fact, and that was announced at midnight

Ehh, and since when does the common citizen care about that kind of stuff? Walmart and McDonalds are the consumerist watermarks of our society, especially considering how people don't tend to care where their products come from, what they're made from, or where the money goes... Just as long as it's cheap and they get a lot.

I'm sticking with BOA cause they helped me so much when my identity got stolen (refunded nearly a thousand bucks within 24 hours, helped the police catch the guy, provided me with documents to fight the creditors), but I dunno if I approve of this move. Not enough to get me to run with my money, but I'll be wary.

Am I the only one who objects to BOA's policy on the ethical issues alone? :a:

Meh. State governments give out driver's licenses to illegals, this isn't much different.

So who ends up paying when they run up their CC's and can't pay?

bofa swallows the loss. If you have decent credit this wont affect you. If you have poor/no credit, your intro APR would probably increase.
