I donated once in HS when the blood-mobile came and once in college. Its been a while though so I don't know what my blood type is...

I did it once and I got too lightheaded and almost fainted. I might do it again I haven't decided yet.

Donated 3 1/2 gallons over the last 10 years or so. I'm A Positive.

It only takes about 20 minutes of time and you could potentially save up to 4 people's lives with one blood donation. It's not a traumatic experience and there almost isn't any pain. What I hate the worst is when they rub the iodine on your arm/inside of your elbow with a q-tip, tickles like crazy.
