photoshop help!
say i increase the canvas width to 768pixels
is there a way to proportionately increase the width of the blue bar?

Why don't you upload it as a more easily viewed file and someone may be able to help. A psd has to be downloaded then open PS and open the file which is a nuisance.

Why not just flatten the bar to the background and up the canvas size?
Seems simple enough to me :dunno:

If when you save it you save it as a gif then yes it will. If you save it as a jpg it saves under a default color (usually white)

select the white and delete it. that will allow you to flatten it while keeping the transparancy

if the resolution is high enough that you won't lose that much quality, then that could work.
