I know a concussion is caused by an impact to the head. The impact is so severe that your brain shifts.
With this, you're launched forward ... then instantly backwards. Can this cause a concussion without the severe blow?
I'm thinking that having your organs go from 0 to X mph, to a dead stop, and in the opposite direction, can't be good.
