Scenario:

Jack pulls into school parking lot with rifle in gun rack.

1956 - Vice Principal comes over, takes a look at Jack's rifle, goes to his car and gets his to show Jack.

2006 - School goes into lockdown, FBI called, Jack hauled off to
jail and never sees his truck or gun again. Counselors called in for
traumatized students and teachers.

Scenario:

Johnny and Mark get into a fist fight after school.

1956 - Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up best friends. Nobody goes to jail, nobody arrested, nobody expelled.

2006 - Police called, SWAT team arrives, arrests Johnny and Mark. Charge them with assault, both expelled even though Johnny started it.

1956 - Jeffrey sent to office and given a good paddling by
Principal. Sits still in class.

2006 - Jeffrey given huge doses of Ritalin. Becomes a zombie.
School gets extra money from state because Jeffrey has a disability.

Billy breaks a window in his father's car and his Dad gives him a whipping.

1956 - Billy is more careful next time, grows up normal, goes to
college, and becomes a successful businessman.

2006 - Billy's Dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy removed to
foster care and joins a gang. Billy's sister is told by state psychologist that she remembers being abused herself and their Dad goes to prison. Billy's mom has affair with psychologist.

1956 - Mark shares headache medicine with Principal out on the
smoking dock.

2006 - Police called, Mark expelled from school for drug
violations. Car searched for drugs and weapons.

Mary turns up pregnant.

1956 - 5 High School Boys leave town. Mary does her senior year at a special school for expectant mothers.

2006 - Middle School Counselor calls Planned Parenthood, who
notifies the ACLU. Mary is driven to the next state over and gets an
abortion without her parent's consent or knowledge. Mary given condoms and told to be more careful next time.

Pedro fails high school English.

1956: Pedro goes to summer school, passes English, goes to college.

2006: Pedro's cause is taken up by state democratic party.
Newspaper articles appear nationally explaining that teaching English as a requirement for graduation is racist. ACLU files class action lawsuit against state school system and Pedro's English teacher. English banned from core curriculum. Pedro given diploma anyway but ends up mowing lawns for a living because he can't speak English.

Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers from the 4th of
July, puts them in a model airplane paint bottle, blows up a red ant bed.

1956 - Ants die.

2006 - BATF, Homeland Security, FBI called. Johnny charged with domestic terrorism, FBI investigates parents, siblings removed from home, computers confiscated, Johnny's Dad goes on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.

Johnny falls while running during recess and scrapes his
knee. He is found crying by his teacher, Mary. Mary, hugs him to comfort him.

1956 - In a short time Johnny feels better and goes on playing.

2006 - Mary is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She faces 3 years in State Prison.

never forget in hs the time someone found a round of ammunition in a locker room...i got called out of class to the prinicipals, her, the assistant principal and the counselor are in the office waiting for me. they sit me down and start talking about depression and bullying and al this shit. finally i ask if they have a point b/c im missing class. the principal pulls out a cartridge asks me if i know what it is and why i brought it to school.

i asked to see it she refuses, i again ask to see it and she asks why. i say b/c i can tell u in a matter of seconds if its mine or not. she hands it over and i tell her its not mine i dont own a gun in that caliber. she goes we dont believe you, we had students tell us you hunt and your family owns guns. at this point im gettin very pissed off. and proceed to tell them if they want i have some rounds in my coat in the locker because i was out hunting that morning and also i have my rifle in the car if they wanna see that as well.....oh boy wrong thing to say...called my parents had local cop come in.

my dad gets there first from work, and when he hears why he was called in because osmeone found a shell in a locker room and people knew i hunted and then they were upset b/c i brought live ammo onto school grounds he just started laughing...told them basically to fuck off and took me home for the day telling them to get real. from that point on the administration and i didnt exactly get along.

wow i remeber when i went to school and there used to be guns in the back of trucks. lots of hunting around there and it was normal,, fuckin weird i havent thought about it that much but i can totaly see the diff not that i do think about it.

 

During hunting season in the high school I went to most of the football team failed to show up for practice...they went hunting directly from school (and everyone wondered why we always had losing seasons), for that matter most of the kids that hunted did, and they brought their shotguns and ammo in their cars.


Spanking never bothered me, and I got plenty of them, sometimes with the belt. How many times have we read accounts of children being prodded by psychologist to remember stuff that didn't happen to them and their parents being blamed.


As far as girls getting pregnant we were a small school (only 31 students in my class) if one of the girls got pregnant we knew who did it...nobody left town. They ended up getting tutored at home once they started showing, and didn't get to come to graduation if they were still pregnant. The funny part was it usually wasn't the girls that you thought it would be.

We even had people born in this country that couldn't speak English worth a shit and they weren't from any specific ethnic group...they just didn't pass along with their class and had to take whatever over until they did or dropped out. For some reason most of them farming was their family business.

I tried making Nitroglycerine in my chemistry class, teacher stopped me when he figured out what I was doing. We made extra large firecrackers in physics class and would go out behind the school to blow them up. The police weren't called it was no big thing.
