the baltimore area is pretty expensive.... and the city is pretty bad for crime. i live north of baltimore and its nice out here but becoming way overdeveloped and the traffic is getting shitty. i'm thinking about going to DE or maybe NC somewhere.

i wanna travel out west to AZ/CA though, to see what its like.

I feel you pain. N.J. housing situation is retarded.

One solution is to live in PA and work in NJ. Loads of people I work with commute.

Another is to look carefully at Warren County. Some spots are more reasonable.

Well I'm open to ideas. We're currently in the market for a house, I will be buying in NJ for my 1st home, but 2-5yrs down the line when our son is older and we need to upgrade I want to have some idea where we might want to live. If I can make 100k on a house here and move somewhere else make less but have more...I'm down. I just want a nice place to raise my family.

I pay $1080/mo for my 1k sq' 2 BR/1 BA apt. I'd rather pay a lil more and have something that's mine.

Many cities/towns in Southern NH have made the best area to live in the nation for the past 10-years. The city I'm living in won it in 1993, 1997 and in 2004.

Ideas? Now? I could say here is good, but then it'll suck.

Like I said, I'm open to ideas, but more likely to buy in NJ. Most nice places don't turn to shit over night, most.

What kind of shit would you like me to gather about this area while I'm still here?
