Fantastic. It was easy to set up, the picture looks great, and it fits quite well in my living room. I can't wait to watch the conference championships this weekend. :rick:

Now I just need to consildate my remotes. 5 is about 4 too many. (TV, Cable Box, VCR, DVD, Surround Sound).

holy heck ... that old set is a 26?! The 37 just dwarfs it. I didn't realize the +10 on the corner to corner measurement was so much bigger.

Same here. I knew intellectually how big it would be, since I'd taken a tape measure to the old set and figured out how much larger the 37" set would be. But when I unpacked it and set them next to each other, I was like "Holy Shit! "

the mind perceives a horizontal increase to be greater than an equal vertical increase. since the tv's are 1.78, an 11 inch increase would look greater compared to an 11 inch increase on a regular 4:3 TV.

@ Target, there's a 44in DLP RCA for $749.98 on clearance. I'm hounding it ... waiting for the 75% off.
hey I am interested, how do I get that?

in stores.

just head to the TV section and look for the big ones. There's an RCA 44 DLP with a red tag on it.

if you do it right ... and are lucky ...

1499.99 - 75% (red tagged) = 374.99
374.99 - 10% (open Target Visa) = 337.49

note, the TV is NOT @ 75% off yet. It's either 30% or 50% pending the location.
