This typically ships free and is not taxed.

I didn't know so many people were looking for these :run:

about a year ago, I got this from Overstock:

Panasonic SC-HT690 DVD Home Theater System with 400W

Features include:
* Progressive scan 5 DVD changer
* AM/FM digital tuner
* 4 satellite speakers
* 1 Center channel speaker
* 1 Subwoofer
* Remote control

Specifications:
* Power: 450 Watts
* Audio inputs: 3 (TV, VCR, Aux)
* Component video out
* Media formats: DVD-Audio, DVD-Video, DVD-RAM/DVD-R, CD, CD-R/RW, Video CD, JPEG, MP3, WMA
* Dolby Pro Logic Digital Audio

after a 10% discount, no tax, + $0.01 shipping, it was under $140.

It was refurbed, so one of the speakers had a scratch on it ... but no biggie.

HTIB isn't where I want to go. Although Onkyo is some nice shit, I'd do a Denon HTIB if I we're going that route.

I can get F-3 Floorstanding's for under $200 a piece, and that'd have some decent bass response untill I expand to a Klipsch Sub-10.

I hate you. No, but thats an awesome deal. If you get such a discount why not go for the synergy 12 instead of the 10?
