Watch you were all drunk as hell and in actuality it was a clear blue day.
hahahahahahahahahah!!!!
I always felt safe in my expedition in heavy rains. I didn't speed though.
I thought heavy car - no hydroplaning. I had crazy issues with my integra, my civic and every other car slipping and sliding on wet roads. Not the expo though.. 7,000 curb weight.
use ur own car, get ur own gf, and foggy mountain is between LV and LA if ur chick can clear the shift stick, u'll both do fine h:
hydroplanning has to do with curb weight to an extent.... but it has mostly to do with all your shitty tires :db:
I ran summer-only ultra high performance tires year round which combined with the super stiff suspension made for a dangerous ride, but the integ and civic are paperweights and slip and slide in any standing water.
The expedition had big tires with lots of tread blocks (tall and deep) effectively cutting through the water.
i was in that same situation on monday, me an the girl i like were driving back into town and it was raining and it was foggy as all hell. i told her i was gonna drive slower and held her hand the entire time untill we got off the mountain
I went back to my hometown a couple of days ago....
It started to fog.... I was trying to get back home and what usually takes 1 hr took me 3.5hrs better safe than sorry right? over 100 miles of fog
100 miles of fog sounds crazy!
we get fog here sometimes but it clears if you stay away from the river lol
What fucking idiot would use their highbeams in the fog?
So. Cal drivers.............oooh it's even better when they disregard the low-beams altogether and leave them on high at night. The people often look like douchbags or it's some broad yapping away on her cell phone

I liked using the yellow foglights in perfectly clear weather. Aim them a little on the high side and watch for the birdies!

WTF? You'd think they would notice that the light scatters even worse with the highbeams on... Idiots
