Nice purchase! I was looking at those before I bought an '03 Accord Coupe (back in the day when they first came out). Forget the automatic haters, it's your daily driver #1, and #2 Accords aren't your typical race car the last time I checked.
THE AUTOMATICS FOR THIS MODEL ARE PRONE TO FAILURE.
Otherwise I wouldn't give a fuck.
I pray to God I don't have to reiterate this again.
if you're commenting to ignore the haters, but don't know what the haters are saying, that might be a problem.
I read over a few posts and they pretty much summed up Automatics = Sorry if I don't want to waste my time reading through garbage comments from 16 year old's who think a 5spd anything is better than an Automatic.
I know plenty of people with that gen Accord who've never had any transmission issues. If you drive it like it should be driven, it's likely to last like it should.

My 52 year old Aunt has a 1999 sedan who just had the transmission replaced at 72,000 miles.

I know some people that have DSMs that never had crank walk, but that doesn't mean it isn't an issue. Stop being a bitch.
