ok good stuff... I am going up to visit probably this month... then I guess I will get a good idea of what I should do... OLDMAN how does the campus look?

Don't know, never been there. I have no need to go to Flint, I'm 8 miles from Ann Arbor. The only time I go to Flint is when I pass through to see my in-laws in Saginaw or Pinconning.

I went to school at UM and I drove plenty of FWD cars around. My ex had a Mazda MX3 that worked fine in snow. I would be more worried about your car being jacked in Flint than snow.

I'm actually considering getting an STI or a WRX... my parents said they'd feel safer with me in that anyway, and they said they'd pay the bill when I wasnt working in my co op... so that doesnt seem like a bad option...
