Wow, that's a lot of work to be done. How much have you saved up so far? No med insurance??
Well, my insurance is through the VA, but they won't pay for my braces or lasik. They would do my wisdom teeth... However, I'd rather have the guy that our family dentist recommended do it because you only get one set of nerves and he is the best in the area. I've heard some bad things about wisdom teeth and the VA. Right now I have zero saved up, I have been saving all of my money for school. Hopefully when I get a degree and get a good paying job I can start saving for all the things I want to have done. The surgery is happening on January 2nd and is setting me back $3,000
They're gnarlier than an enema but if done right you can shed some weight. All that shit that's left in your colon can't be good for you. I've been meaning to get one but procedure has me a little hesitant. :noes: I'm not sure how fond of the idea of having a tube up my pooper hosing down my insides then vacuuming it all out sounds to me. I guess it lasts a while like up to 45min from what I've heard. But you feel lighter and have more energy afterwards.
Actually most doctor advise against them. There really isn't that much stuff left in your colon after you shit unless your diet is really bad. If you even have a reasonable amount of fiber in your diet basically all of it comes out. If you are worried about it just eat a bunch of fiber along with a lot of fruit (too keep the shit from coming out like a rock) and you will clean everything out. The problem with a colonic is it doesn't just get rid of the shit. It also gets rid of all the good bacteria that is necessary for normal function. If you get rid of that stuff in can cause a lot of intestinal problems.

I've heard this myself. I haven't heard enough positive things to sway me to get it done at this point.
