Bullshit, the Japanese work 10x as hard as us and are far more productive and healthy than your average american.

 

For a while my berry was off the hook with photoshoot details, business schedules, travel plans, advertisers etc. I mean every day of the week and just about any time of day. Doing business on all ends of the US and some foreign soil makes for some very busy phone useage.

im gonna have to kind of disagree as the avg american is a lazy slob and hard workers are in the minority
lets take hard workers compared to the japanese work force. my conception is that japanese generally have better work ethic due to jobs that are lifetime jobs, employer provided housing, etc, and a better sense of integrity
so i think they value their jobs more and that is taught early on

what i understand of americans is that most go home and think about work when they are not taking work home for paid or unpaid OT. i personally forget about all deadlines and projects the second i step in my car to go home

 

I can see what you mean but at the same time 18 hours a day on the job is no different really than 10 hours on clock and 8 hours at home thinking about work. It is the same amount of stress just in a new location.

Some people are workaholics....being in a 24/7 operation doesn't exactly help. I noticed that I feel very naked whenever I do not have my BB with me.

It's sad, really, but it's also the truth. In fact, I actually purchased a secondary phone so I won't carry my BB with me on the weekends.

 

My wife's boss just got voice on his blackberry or whatever and can talk to her on her computer.
