rebeld i whouldnt swap the engines in the cadillac but these cars arent worth much on the market especial the catera ...my catera has 220km and soon its about to die i honestly dont feel like buying a new engine b.c the car is worth around 3-4k,5-6k if its in mint condition ... the parts for the catera are VERY expencive to change the timing belt it is around 800$ + labour so it would be just cheeper to go nutz and try somthin new out i think it will be runing good the catera now is 3800lbs and supra is around there too

Haha, it's actually a pretty straight forward swap. It uses the 7MGME motor which is found in the Mark III non turbo Supras. Few motor mount changes and some relocation of some items and it'll slide right in. I have the whole MKIII Supra chassis performance parts to choose from too like brakes if I did a wheel hub swap.

The Cressida actually weighs more than the Supra which is a good thing, you need weight for traction...which the Supra lacks because of the light ass end (hatchback).

Honestly it's not going to be worth your trouble unless you really love the car or something. The wiring is going to be a goddamn nightmare. And the Supra is around 3300 pounds.

Just plan on having some crazy downtime, stuff to kick, and a fat wallet.
