Because properly damping at low RPM would totally kill the feel of a proper muscle car.

Courtney Hansen can be seen on Spike TV's Power Block, Sat. and Sunday mornings.

She also has a new show on Spike called "Late Night Strip" I'll let you draw your own concluison there. :jawdrop:
