This is where it begins... v. Space exploration
Attesting to the dryness of lunar rocks, it is noted that the samples collected by Apollo astronauts near the equator contained only traces of water. However, because of the very slight axial tilt of the Moon's spin axis to the ecliptic plane (only 1.5°), some deep craters near the poles never receive any light from the Sun, and are permanently shadowed (see Shackleton crater). Thus, any water molecules that eventually ended up in these craters could be stable for long periods of time.
Imagine all white astronauts.....just kidding.
Dude, I would go and die up there. To get away from all the bullshit down here. Look, here I am talking of wanting to go up there and my ass is still scared of the dark.

I think like that sometimes too. I don't know why but space intrigues me so much. It's like all we know is this one little planet in this vast universe and some people are perfectly content with that. It's like this is all they know and it's all they need to know because they were born here, they will grow here and eventually die here. That's not me though. I wish I was born many years in the future, maybe around the time space travel was normal and you go go between galaxies in very little time. I know, I know, it all sounds like a dorky little fantasy and technically it is. But I just think the idea of seeing new things or possibly meeting lifeforms smarter than us that we could learn from is exciting.
And also, what Craig said. This planet is plagued with war, hate, pollution, violence, waste and all these negative things. True, it is us that made it that way, but it doesn't have to be like that. I wish I could go somewhere else really far away where people aren't like people on this planet.

Im with Pete. Something about the unknown turns me on. Space is a trip because if its pure size and mystery. I mean come on! We're still learning about the Sun and its a main source of energy.
I had this weird ass thought the other night that made me really trip. There are only a couple of people alive today that have stepped foot on the moon. Imagine that for a second. They can look up at that big ass thing in the sky and say "Yup, Ive walked on that." To me, thats mind boggling. Imagine how the people that have been there feel.
