For those who care...
Hey good luck man, you'll be ok. I just came back from south carolina 2 weeks ago, my sister just graduated boot camp and is being stationed in Georgia now. It'll be tough but stay positive. :usa:
Thanks...I'll be in SC for my Boot Camp...then to Georgia for my AIT, also. Did she like Boot camp? I've heard all about it and have heard mixed results from it. I'm not nervous about going to Basic training...it's the AIT I'm nervous about...b/c I don't know what to expect. With Basic...you can go online and read what you'll be doing week by week...and I have friends that have gone through it and I know what to expect. But the AIT is a whole different story.

.She's going to be stationed in Georgia for her AIT, she left SC to Georgia last saturday. I forgot what she's doing there, something with computers I think. It's a 3 month session with 40 hrs a week, so their pretty much squeezing a yr or 2 worth of school in 3 months.
Oh yea I found a M16 shell on the ground.
LMAO she was so scared I was gonna get in trouble, I guess they missed one.
I'm making a chain out of it.

Well she was in ROTC the 4 years in high school just like you, and when we visited her in Fort Jackson, SC (very nice by the way) she was very happy and she said she loves it. Of course she had a few bumps in the road, she had a little trouble with her test (running) and failed the first time but pasted the second time in her final test and now she graduated. The Army provided Thanksgiving dinner too

h:I'll be doing my MOS in Georgia too...which has to do with computer. But my AIT is going to be 5.5 months long. Which means I'll miss all the major holidays...but oh well, I'll do what it takes to get things done and I'd do anything for my country.
Nice...I've been to Ft. Jackson twice. I went to Summer Camp there while I was in JROTC in HS...we had a lot of fun there...but I have a feeling it won't be the same the next time I go, lol
