Satellite Radio
Who here has satellite radio? I just renewed my subscription in the TL for another year of XM at 77 bucks.. Theyre also offering me a 6 month deal with the XM Roady + car kit for 90 bucks shipped. (7$ a month service)
Should I go for it? I mean its only 90 bucks. only thing I don't want to do is have to leave it plugged in the cigarrette lighter all the time. Can I hardwire it to a switched 12v source?

Both are too mainstream for me.

I've had XM for 2 years...might switch to Sirius, might not. I'll have to find a friend with Sirius and listen to it a few days. The only thing I dislike about XM is the quality on some channels and the horrible hip hop/rap choices.
And yeah jay, you can hardwire it in. They sell kits at like radioshack.
I have a 12V outlet hardwired into my fusebox and a splitter onto that, and I have my navi power cable and XM power cable plugged into that splitter. All behidn the dashboard.

Yeah.. Just saw some of those. Might just buy a spare cig lighter adaptor and tap into it so I can hide it under the dash. Either that or just buy the hardwire that converts the 12v to 5.5 v.
Thanks bro.
Im not pleased with the only 5 channels I listen to cause the rest suck.
my friend has sirius and they have a nice variety of channels.
