sirius is freaking awesome. i had XM and Sirius. XM does not compare.

XM = Oprah and Her Friends :ugh:, baseball, Nascar, Hear Music (Starbucks), and dance music that sucks.

Sirius = HOWARD :woowoo:, Playboy, NBA, Eminem, Football, Maxim, BBC One, Martha Stewart, dance music that rocks, New Wave channel and much more. the playlists seem so much better than XM.

I had XM only because I thought Pioneer decks was only compatible with it, until I found the IP Bus unit for Sirius. Best freaking 100 bucks I spent. I love it!!!!!

I like XM Pops, Watercolors, 47/54, The 90's...but the rap/pop/hip hop stations are garbage. They have the best talk radio variety but most of that can be had on AM.
im not sure of the station names but their channels are

80,81,82,83 , 64,65,66,......sometimes I listen to 20 & 21.

maybe its just me. I have those channels on memory dont bother scanning through the rest.

I'm a big fan of Backspin on Sirius, but love Flight 26 and the slow jams channels. Plus XM comedy channels are HILLARIOUS!!!

I don't get it...why did you buy an XM receiver when your TL has one built in?

yeah.. Extended the service for 1 yr in the tl using a code i found online "zwinback" for 77 bucks/year and then added a second reciver and service at 7/month on a monthly cycle.

I'll be taking the bimmer on a couple of small road trips so why not have it in there as well right?

considering that he alone placed Sirius as a big shot in the radio market, i would say he has a few people who like him.
