go over over to vtec.net and try to say that...last week I got hell for it. There was a guy who had a shop put a comptech SC on his Civic (paid like $6500 total) and his SC drive belt ended up blowing and he drove like 40 miles with the car overheating...dude didn't even know what the coolant temp gauge was or meant. I said that that's what happens when people throw wads of cash at a shop to have their cars heavily modified and they have no idea what's going on or how anything works, stuff gets fucked up. You'd have thought that I was walking through Jerusalem with a swastika armband.

I couldn't even bring a beater to Jiffy Lube. Did you know Jiffy Lube has a tolerance of 2 blown engines per year from each shop? So say they fucked up an oil change, etc.

I don't go to Jiffy Lube. I knew they were full of shit when they told me my air filter needed to be replaced. I was like dude, it is a K&N it can be cleaned. And they were like oh...yeah, that's right.

only place i go to is my uncles shop, so far i never went to Jiffy, or the other companies out there, while we are on the topic of dumb asses, i also hate going to Auto Zone, why you ask, every time i need a part their dumb asses don't know what I'm saying, for instance, one time i needed an new belt for my integra, and the laddie was like "hmmm who makes integras" i threw a joke and said "its ford mam" and she thought i was serious. i was like WTF, and to believe that 3 of my friends work there who know squat about cars, and me, i applied 3 times but never got hired, and my uncle says that they don't hire people with automotive experience, cause they would have to pay you more, is this true.

so far the only people i met with real knowledge are these 2 guys who work at the NAPA by my house, real cool guys and know a lot about Honda's which surprised me a bit.
next time ill remember.
