There is an online site selling the japanese version for 699 and 999 (20gb and 60gb versions) + shipping. They seem to still have it in stock.

I just called a friend that works at the best buy im going to be camping at and he informed me that no one is allowed to camp out 2 days in advance. If they do they will be asked to leave. That's why im going tomorrow at about 5pm, since i get off of work at 4:30. I also heard from a guy at gamestop that the second batch of PS3's wont be coming with Blue-ray

Exacvtly...and the reason SOny is losing money on each unit and having such a hard time is because of the blue ray drives in them. If they nix them, that will be a smart move.

Not necessarily. Blu-Ray has more potential than HD disks, so if costs related to Blue-Ray come down (which they surely will), then it will be worth it.

You can always be a prick....pay the security guard (if possible) to kick those people out of the parking lot since it is private property and be the first one in line

What would the reprocussions that I would face if I just came up and cut behind the 3rd and 4th person in line......when I would have a 250lb 6' dude right next to me?
