Went to an auto-x today, got back and had a voicemail from my dad...my stepmom's dad has like 3-4 days at most left. So I'm driving to NY and back tonight/tomorrow so I can see him before he dies. Just kicked my gf out. This sucks. Never had a death in my family before...I have a pretty small family (only child of an only child on my dad's side, and my mom doesn't speak with her dad's side of the family because they're all assholes).

Heh yeah mine too...it's been like 4 years of bitching back and forth with my stepmom, but it's taken this to bring us closer together. All in God's plan, I guess...

That sucks man. I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully he goes peacefully and happy. Glad that you get to see him and the family together before he goes.

 

Yea it does suck, hopefully in the future you guys won't let the small things get in the way of everyone staying close. Espeically now through the holidays.
