Creative Zen Vision:M on Windows 2000?
A friend of mine just got a Creative Zen Vision:M mp3 player but he can't get it hooked up to his computer. He's got Windows 2000. Supposedly this mp3 player "requires" Windows XP SP1 or higher to work. Both he and I are a bit skeptical about this requirement. Anyone know of a way to get this thing to work without having to bootleg a copy of XP and going through an upgrade?

- Can I use Windows 2000 with the Vision:M?
You can, but you can only transfer music using it (you cannot transfer videos). For more information, see Creative's Knowledge Base Solution ID #SID8113:

Supposedly, MediaMonkey can also be used to transfer music (only). However, for Windows 2000, you may also need the WMP9 runtime redistributable files, available from http://www.mediamonkey.com/sw/wmfdist95.exe.
For another method, see this message (I have not tested it):
