I've been wearing glasses for years and even though they are easy as on and off, I just cant wear them when im doing certain things, like playing sports. The style of headphones i have dont allow for me to listen to music with my glasses on as they tend to come dislodged from behind my ear and end up falling. Plus i have the fear of my air bag going off and my glasses shattering into my eyes.

Thank goodness for my eyesight!!

I'd be willing to sell my eyeballs to those in need...for a nominal price of course.

Pulled right from their website's FAQ section. http://www.nightandday.com/

Are NIGHT & DAY contact lenses OK to wear for up to 30 nights?

While individual wearing times may differ, both our clinical research and market experiences have shown that NIGHT & DAY breathable contact lenses can be worn for up to 30 continuous nights and days. The FDA has approved NIGHT & DAY for daily wear and extended wear for up to 30 continuous nights. Several million patients have worn NIGHT & DAY contact lenses worldwide with great success.

The benefits of NIGHT & DAY contacts include the highest oxygen transmissibility of any available soft contact lens for the health of your eyes, a surface treatment that helps to minimize deposit build-up and produces a highly wettable lens, which helps the contacts move well on the eye and enhances comfort. All of these factors help in the ability to wear NIGHT & DAY breathable contact lenses for up to 30 nights. Please follow your eye care practitioner's recommendation on wearing time.
I am following the directions and doing better than the directions.

Well then don't turn your car on with your key because that is what it says in the manual. You should do it a different way than instructed.

They CAN be slept in, but its not a good idea.

Any even half decent optometrist will tell you its still best to remove the contacts.

Your car manual says your redline is 8000 RPMs. It's not a good idea to drive around at 8000 RPMs all the time.

^ exactly.

The benefits of NIGHT & DAY contacts include the highest oxygen transmissibility of any available soft contact lens for the health of your eyes, a surface treatment that helps to minimize deposit build-up and produces a highly wettable lens, which helps the contacts move well on the eye and enhances comfort.
notice the wording,

"highest oxygen transmissibility of any available soft contact lens"

in other words, still does not breath as well as when not wearing contacts.

"helps to minimize deposit build-up"

in other words, there were still be deposit build-up.

are you really surprised that you got conjunctivitis after wearing your lenses for 20 days straight at a time? you were asking for it.
