Default Anyone else have an auto-starter on a MT car?

I have a CompuStar system on my WRX. The thing that pisses me off is that it will only auto-start if it is in "reservation mode" which basically means that you have to turn the car off by doing a specific list of things in an exact order. I think it is something like:

-Come to a stop
-put car in neutral
-pull e-brake up
-take foot off brake pedal
-remove key

When I park, I don't think about that shit. I just gtfo of my car in whatever way is most convenient, but since I don't do it in that specific order every time, my car will only auto-start about 50% of the time (even if the car is in neutral and the e-brake is up). Is there any way that I can bypass the stupid reservation mode requirement?

It's for people that live where it snows so that when it's -10 degrees outside and your car is covered in ice and snow and you have to go to work that morning, you don't have to go out to your car in your skivies 20 min before you leave and start it to let it warm up. You can do it from inside your house.

I don't think CompuStar is going to tell me how to do something that voids a warranty on their product.

yeah but on those cold winter mornings instead of sitting in the car shivering while you warm up, you can just start up the car from indoors and let it warm up on its own and leave the heater on so when u get in its warm too.

I would understand that if I was a complete retard that tries to auto-start a car that is in gear. However, I never leave my car in gear when I park, not even on hills. It's just force of habit, like putting on a seatbelt as soon as I get in any car.

Well, in certain cases, yeah I could see why it's not a good idea. But no one else drives my car except for me. I live alone.
