The cool thing about this weekend is.. is that I held my own and did better than some of the 30 other males (I'm the only female that turned out for this academy). Sounds corny, but I'm really proud of myself for kicking some major ass :chuckles:
Here are the pictures I promised:
Two guys on a different company competing in our multi-company ops session. This was part of the forcible entry.
Me and a team mate going through the confidence course. They "black out" your SCBA mask and you have to follow hoseline through an obsticle course before your air bottle runs out.. or you're dead

ahahaha holding onto a firehose under full pressure is fun! you point that sucker at the ground and it can easily lift you off your feet.
I know what its like to push your body beyond then have to do it again the next again and once you are used to it you'll feel totally different.
