I used to fence.. ... so.. I'm in a very similar posistion.. .. just hold my feet slightly different when boarding.. I think that's what kinda makes a little bit awkward feeling. I'll get it tho.

I consider myself a skier, and picked up snowboarding later in life. I thought skiing was much hard to learn, but I think what helped in learning to snowboard was that I wasn't afraid to go fast down the mountain, which helps stabilize the snowboard.

I used to ski when I was young, it was fun but I like snowboarding better for some reason.
And I just picked up a new burton :yay: My old board was way too stiff and the base was fucked.

 

god i hate the skiers that trash the terrain park.....

youve been up north. u know what im talkin bout at boyne mt. where the fuckin ski school uses the terrain park as a training ground for the 6 year old beginner skiers and they have little kids fallin all over the tables and jumps causing people to either almost hit the kids, go crazily outta control getting outta the way, or crashing hard rather than smokin some little kid layin on the ground

 

i agree 100%. most skiers should not be allowed in the park. especially ski schools. i dont do any freestyle shit or anything, so i dont even go near it, not my place. if you're good enough, fine

i hate snowboarders who cant carve and just push all the snow down the hill. ice ftl.. yes we have ice and its just something we have to live with

that is my biggest gripe against snowboarders.

I like skiing better, but to each their own.

I have my season pass ready to go, I am so ready for it to be here.

 

i have nothing against skiers using the park, i have friends who ski who are pretty damn good in the park...but its the inexperienced ones or the ones who go down the halfpipe, granted i dont use the halfpipe but come on....its not for skis your just ruining it. not to mention the sign says boards only and ski patrol does shit.

i have nothing against skiers in general, only the assholes who constantly bitch about boarders ruining their areas then proceeding to come to the board parks and trashing them on their skis. hell theres alot of boarders that piss me off for doing stupid shit they shouldnt be like just rolling over jumps...HELLO it ruins the lip

 

I try and respect everybody on the hill, boarding is too damn fun to start bitching about skiers or bladers, fuck that.
