Diagnosed with an aneurysm today…
For the past few weeks I have been having very strong headaches, usually when working out on the leg press while pushing very heavy weights. Aspirin or Tylenol would not stop that heavy pounding in my head, so I decided to check with the docs. Got a CAT scan done and the results came today: I am diagnosed with an aneurysm.
At this point, I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised by the results. It seems that it is condition running in the family. My grandma died this year from an aneurysm, one of my aunts has an aneurysm in a location they cannot operate on, and my mom was operated for an aneurysm a couple years back. But yeah, nothing I should really be surprised with…
I just did not think it would happen to me, and especially not now while I am still in my 20s. I got no health insurance, and the income I have won’t allow me to fork the 40-50 grand necessary for surgery: brilliant situation. My life is paused for now, I guess I no longer have time to waste and must make haste of everything.

how awful, im so sorry about your situation! you are between a rock and a hard place. yours is a situation that would not be happening if we had universal healthcare in this country. healthcare costs in this country are one of the major reasons people file for bankruptcy insured or not.
when it comes to healthcare bill paying, according to suze orman, you can pay on the debt for 3 yrs then stop. the healthcare providers will write off the rest of the debt. they dont go after u after 3 yrs. pay the minimum as long as u send them something then stop. itll go on your credit report but who cares. when the debt gets written off and creditors/collection agencies contact u after the 3 yrs and write off. dont talk to them. collection agencies will call u and try to get u to repay it. legally they cant do that. do not agree to pay it back. u wont owe it. if u tell them u owe it or u will pay it back that starts the 3 yrs up all over again.
