I'm surprised so many people picked Shamrock to win. I would have given the Sham about a 5% chance in this fight. While he may be a legend, he's old, and everybody else has learned all the new stuff he brought into the sport 13 years ago.

Tito's a dick, but it would have been SHOCKED if he'd lost. It was good to see him give props after the fight, but I can't wait to see Lidell hand him his ass.

Just to clarify...Tito didn't want to fight chuck the first time so Chuck and Randy fought. Randy won and was given an interim light heavy weight belt. That pissed off Tito, so then Tito and Randy fought. Randy won and that is how Tito lost his belt. Then Tito and Chuck fought (with no belt on the line) and Tito got knocked out at the beginning of the second round.

If Tito doesn't try to stand with Chuck he might be able to win. Otherwise Chuck will knock him out again. Overall I give Chuck a 65% chance of winning and Tito a 35% chance.

yea, but at the end....Tito said it was a show for the fans, and apologized...also said shamrock was one of his heros or something.

Seemed like a bit of 'WWF' stuff that he recanted.

It was a chess match, but he fell into the triangle too easily and could not get out once it was cinched. Could have been cold feet too, the first fight as a UFC contender takes its toll on some fighters and they mis-perform.

For sure. He needs a lot of work, but he is willing to work so he will definitely be a force. He has collosal take downs, but needs to do more once he gets down on them. Not enough activity to keep it on the ground.

:werd: That's all he did through out the entire match, take him down, he did everything he could to get that fight to the ground. For a bit they were throwing punches and he was clearly leaving himself open, especially with that kick to the face.

Titio pretty much walked away from his belt for about a yr. due to a contract dispute. He felt he was due more $$$ for being the champ. So then the Interim Belt was awarded to Randy Coutre which forced Tito back into the Octagon, at which point he lost and that made Randy's interim belt final. Then Chuck rolled in and took it from Randy and has had it ever since.
