I got one from gamestop today. I had to buy the system upfront $600 + tax and put $5 down on a minimum of 2 games. I'm broke as of today.

No kidding man. I really drilled the employee about getting one on Nov. 17th or heads are gonna roll. All I wanted was COD3 and then wait for some other titles to come out later. I didn't want to buy 2 games.

 

I usually would never do that but I have the "Ebay option" in the back of my mind if I get a bind on launch day because of this. I know I can a least get my money back if I decide to take that route. I'd like to keep it but like you said, I can't justify putting myself in the poorhouse, but I do like looking at a potential profit situation.

 

if you paid in full..u'd better get one on launch date.

The manager said I would have one guaranteed. I asked him that question a few times cause I was 8 out of 8 pre-orders. If something happens, I would think I would get the shaft first but he assured me that I will have one in my hands on launch day no matter what.

 

Just return the gay games the next day after you get them.

 

Some of us have a lot more money to dispose of than others.
