Just opened today.

 

Yeah... I got there at 9:30, 1/2 hour before opening. No line of course, because I live in a relatively small city where most people have lives (meaning they were at work or school). I watched the Gamestop employee leave the store at 9:45 to get a coffee from the Wal-Mart next door. He came back and I basically followed him in at 9:59. He said that they only had 8 spots for pre-order, and they were already full.

Seriously, WTF! Bunch of savages in this town. Employees were only allowed 2 spots because of the low quantities, so that means they "reserved" 6 spots for the other employees and friends. Bastids.

 

They've already stopped taking pre-orders in-store. I'll try to get the pre-order online, but I've already taken that Thursday off work to go camp out.

No point.... I can wait till the good games come out to buy one h:

 

I guess I need to apply there so I can be "in" when the PS4, XBox 720, or whatever else comes out. If this same shiz happens when the Wii pre-orders open, I may just go home, pout, complain on the internet and play PS2.

rumor (could be true) that a few games such as Gran Turismo 5, FF13 and few others are reaching prices of $149.00

GT5 supposely has 2 versions, one version for $90 that includes a few cars and 1 track. You'll have to buy the $149 version to have more tracks and cars.
