Default What would you do? v.ebaysuckssometimes

Here's the story:

- I buy an uppipe for my Subie from Ebay, it's a "buy me now" deal.

- I pay the guy immediately through PayPal.

- Transaction seemed to go through properly. Now I wait for the part.

- Don't hear back for a couple of days, then I get a message that the part is back ordered.

- Seller mentions I can get full refund or $10 back and wait for new shipment.

- Send two emails within a span of 1.5 weeks. No response til today

- Check my PayPal to see I've been refunded and a note saying, "Sorry, we had the part in stock, but needed to ship them to another customer. The customer did not pay within the last 2 weeks until I reported a non-payment. Now the payment is received and the part has been sent to that customer"

Question: What would you do? How would you react?

I would be Pissed Off.....it happened to me when i ordered a karaoke machine....it took about a month to get here....way passed my BIRTHDAY PARTY.....yeah i am asian......

Neutral feedback stating deal never went through and that you were refunded...take that money elseware. Its not like its a super rare part right?

Weird shit.

If you get your part/money back, squash-it h: I've had some wack experiences on ebay, and have learned that every now and then shit goes down. Ebay/paypal gets sloppy sometimes, and this seems like one of those times.

Werd...its just kinda a given since you are dealing with such a large amount of users selling and buying things. Youre bounding to run into some shiet. But :werd: on the squash it.

i agree. i opt for option 2. i ended up sending a stern letter to let them know i was unhappy about how i was treated, but would like to continue business.
