website design: html vs flash?

I personally hate them, but check out CMS systems like Xoopa or Joomla maybe.

flash sites are only nice if they are absolutely awesome. if they have anything that doesn't look appealing, the whole site sucks and looks too amateurish :hs:

I don't know what you're talking about...I've been using flash + xml for content driven sites for a while now. I'm not real big into flash too much anymore, as i prefer PHP for most anything I do.

Learning a powerful scripting language such as PHP can greatly enhance and help streamline a site. Surprised no one else here mentioned it...guess you're all n00bs.
