At ye 'ol fire department last night. Since I'm a rook I had to bring ice cream h: It was a boring night to say the least, I missed one call because I was busy studying and another was an aid call (I was on Engine calls) so I missed that as well. I met some new people and have the fitness coach as my workout buddy! We also watched a live-fire drill in class last night deomonstrating why you can't use water to put out gaseous fires.

I think that everyone should donate posturepedic beds to their local stations. All the firefighters and EMT's would love you

Are you alright with EMS? 80% of your calls are EMS related - not Backdraft movie type fires. The cool thing is that the entire department is like one huge family. You should start out as a volunteer to see if career is something you'd like to persue I think you should do it!
