Congrats!

Try playing some Green Day and Oasis songs. They are pretty easy

Sweet. Now, before you become every other person in the world that goes straight to powerchord songs learn where all the notes are on the fretboard. Then learn about sharps, flats, and maijors. Then learn all of the maijor scales then the minors. It's really not as hard as you think. I picked it up in about a week. It's hard picking up a guitar and going straight for the power chords then learning everything later on.

If you ever need any help with anything just pm me.

Hopefully when you get addicted you can control yourself. I have probably 6,000$ in instruments and gear. I have my own studio setup and spent like a year learning how to use everything and I've finished 1 song out of 8. Recording is a bitch when you have to write and record all of the instruments yourself.

good shit. i played heavily when i was in middle school and the beginning of high school. i still pick em up every so often, but find myself too busy most of the time.

learning scales and REAL chords go a long way. power chords are easy. anyone can do that.
