Default I got a question...

Will down-shifting an automatic harm the tranny? Yea i know i need to lose the auto and such, no i'm not doin it trying to be cool. The thing is that something in my front end is jacked up. When i go to stop it vibrates violently, but i've noticed that if i down-shift when slowing down it helps it alot.

I've replaced so much things in the front end i'm running out of things to replace. The last mechanic told me that i got a bad rotor. I've replaced both, but he told me one was warped. I know i need to get it fixed. But in the mean time does it hurt the tranny to down-shift when slowing down?

i dont see why not. I typicallly downshift when im going down a hill in my auto.
Aside from that i stay away from downshifting and gunning it.

have you checked your motor mounts?
I had some noise from my front also and it ended up being the front motor mount.
That shit was shot !

cool, i guess i can keep driving it until i get the time to get the rotors turned. Since the rotors are brand new i dont see a reason why i should buy new ones when i can get those turned. Thanks, i was just making sure i wasn't jackin up my tranny.....

front motor mount is a good guess. torque converter can vibrate pretty bad also. rotors can warp pretty easily even if new.
