Default About What temperature range is normal for a CPU?

My CPU runs at around 77-84 degrees during the day...it may go as high as 92 if I am doing a lot on it...and under heavy load (like during gaming) will spike as high as 106. Is that too high. My case should be more than adequate for cooling. I was thinking about putting on some Arctic Silver 5 to help cool the CPU a bit since I have some sitting around.

Are my temps normal or are they high?

And what temps are dangerous?

Jani told me that the laptops turn off if CPU gets to 90. I thought laptops ran hotter than CPUs so I'll guess that you are running hot

are you talking F or C?

If you are talking C, that's way hot. If it's F, it's way cool.

So I am pretty cool then. I was thinking I couldn't be running that hot considering it's only 20-30 degrees above the room temperature (about 68 degrees) but I just wanted to make sure.

Anyway, what temperatures are dangerous?
