Anyone has one of their online savings account?

i have a couple friends who do HSBC. they seem to like it. i've been thinking of closing my ING and moving it to HSBC too

Anyone knows what happen to the money in a savings account if the account holder dies?

I can assume it can be willed to whoever the owner of the account wishes...you might have to call the company and see if you have the ability to name a beneficiary in the event of death.

I just signed up for my 401k and they give the option for naming a beneficiary.

current rate is 5.05% apr for HSBC...how is hsbc's functionality? Easy to use? Similar to ING?

Yea I wanna know too. Right now, ING rocks for me. And the difference in rates isnt really that huge.

Yeah, I've used ING for over a year now and don't have a single complaint. I regret getting sucked into the higher rate scheme that Emigrant Direct offered, which was about a 1/4th of a percent higher, but they have a horrible user interface which made it so complicated and complex to deposit or withdrawl money that I didn't even want to bother using it.
