Default 18 wheeler vs me...guess who won?

got hit by an 18 wheeler truck it was really heavy traffic, with an accident at a freeway intersection (for socal peeps, it's at the 60 and 57 intersection).. i needed to go on the left lanes cos i needed to go to the 60 freeway, so i put on my turn signal.... no one wanted to give me way, esp this stupid red truck!!

anyways, a space opened up, and so i took it since the red truck didn't seem to move... as i started to go in, the freakin red truck got all aggressive and got really close to me and eventually hit me!! ... keep in mind tht i'm already 80% into the lane..

so, i flagged the truck to pull over, and started to go to the emergency lane.. i got out, and he was still in his lane... i know there was traffic and stuff, but he didn't even make an effort to pull over.. i chased and got next to him again, and AGAIN tried to flag him down:madr: .. he ignored me again, so i decided to take the license plate number and file a hit and run at the CHP

anyways, when i was filing it, the officer asked for the plate number.. i gave it to her, and she said it's possibly missing a number or letter.. but i double checked it with my gf who was in the car, and she said the plate was correct.. wouldn't see what plate it was tho.. it was just white with some sort of red letters on top.. kinda like the older CA plates... anyone know what state has this type of plate?? the plate number is 2DM 534, so it's obviously too short for a CA plate...

anyways, sorry for the long rant.. just wanted to get it off my chest.. i guess i'll file a claim with my insurance.. this is like my 3rd accident (2nd on the accord) in less than 4 months!!! the first 2 were not my fault btw below are the pix of the battle scars

On principle alone, yes. You should have gotten his license number off the side of the cab. If you could catch up to him.

Shouldn't be to hard to fix i would say screw insurance and pay out of your pocket on that one. Good thing the wheels are alright.

I wouldn't have let that asshole go. I would have followed him while on the phone with CHP then probably follow him until they got him
