So from what i've just been informed about i think my parents are about to get divorced. There has been talk about this for like a year now but i guess while they were in couceling today my dad went off and i guess he's sleeping at his friends house tonight. This hasn't happened to me before and i dont really know what to expect. My gf is about to pick me up so we can go to her parents cookout and i'll probably sleep there tonight but um.... i dunno, this is all just real weird and if you guys have any advice for me i think i'd rather hear it now then after this happens.

Just deal with it. Not anything you can do about it. would you rather they stay in a dead relationship to please the kids or call it like it is and move on from here?

 

Divorces suck. My parents are two years into theirs rights now. :hsugh:

 

My parents divorced 15 years ago, i was 8. Its kinda rough on you when you're a child, but as you get older you understand things more. Even though its you're parents you're old enough to realize that there is no since staying in a relationship if you're not happy.

The only odd thing about it now, is like holidays. Instead of one trip i have to make two. Well i did...... i dont talk to my mom anymore....

I think i'll be alright with it really. I'm a little worried about my brother. He's a little ....slow. I dont' know what to call him cause i guess when he was born he went like 5 minutes or so without breathing so i dont know how he's gonna handle it. He's 18 but he acts more like....15-16ish.

Guess its a good thing me and the gf are moving in end of the year. Now that i've had a few hours to relax i'm ok with it. Whatever the hell happens, happens i suppose.
