Default I hate dumbass instructors

Class was supposed to be 6pm-10pm

I left the parking lot at 6:42. No homework, i dont' even know his name because he failed to mention it. Mummbled a lot, didn't really describe in detail wtf we are doing. We went out to the shop and he says word for word "these are the differentials and transmissions we will be working...on. And uh...this is your work area so if no questions i guess....you guys...um can go"

I wasted 57 miles total for that.....................

I'm already looking for another manual trans class. Hopefully one of my teachers i eat with and hang out with are doing that class.

You should go to school closer to your home so it's less miles.
Ask questions.
Talk to your advisor about the class

I hate people who pass judgement on instructors after one class.

Yea, but how could you let the class leave 3 hours early. Engine repair class we already put a block in a stand and read the book a little.
Maybe i am being a dick but so far he doesn't really seem to be very.....i guess informative.

I don't get it? So you have no homework, he orientated you with the classroom, what's the problem?

I have no clue what any of the stuff in the book is. Like i know what a gear ratio is but ...

Just compared to my other instructors i'm able to understand a lot of stuff on the first day. Like in my engine performance first day they taught me how the 4 cycles of an engine work. Which i didn't even know at the time that stuff happened. I know there was combustion but i didn't know how it exactly made the car move.

There was a lot of dead silence. Like the pages of cheating and stuff he just looked at it and said "um...don't cheat......um....disabilities go to downtown for help....tools eh.....lab partners just em i dunno meet each other"

I felt like i could have just stayed home and read and would have learned more. I just don't get it. Tuesday i was there from 8-5 and i feel happy about it. This i'm just unsure how easy its going to be to learn from him.
