when are you taking it?
Volunteer.

Work in a pharmacy.

Do both starting NOW, get in at least the 80th percentile on the PCAT and you're golden.

yeah I know I need to work or volunteer. The good think in cali is that the PCAT is not required... but that makes getting in so much harder :hs:

Fall back plan if I don't get into any cali school is PCAT then maybe east coast :nervous: hopefully it won't come to that because I'm going to work my ass off to get a 4.0 or damn close to it

There's an underlying reason for working and volunteering. You learn things about the career, other careers and generally life. I don't think looking at it as a marketing scheme is a good thing, but I have volunteered alongside people with have that attitude and it's kind of scary.

Well my aunt and uncle have a practice on the east coast with a pharmacy, so when I was there I checked it out and helped out a little to see how things were. I liked it and want to do that I'm not just looking at it from a marketing pov. I'm looking at it as a chance to get more familiar with my future job and hopefully go back to the place I volunteered at and get a job :hsughr:

sorry to jack your thread Labarinth :hs:

I took it nearly 3-4 years ago. I dont remember what I got, but I decided to get my undegradate degree and then decide on what to do with my life.

I'm now looking into graduate school as well as employment options. I swear, the post-college transition is the biggest transition of all.

Ok, well I didn't make this thread....Erik (Canada) did.... but thanks for the support guys....

Anyway, the test went ok. I think I did well on the physical science and bio sections but I wasn't feeling the verbal section. I hope to not have to take it again but unless I get a 10 or better on verbal I will have to retake it. I think I probably scored right around the 9-10 borderline so keep your fingers crossed for me :nervous: ...I wont find out my scores for 2 months
