Default basic IPod Question?

I decided to post this here because I'm sure a lot of you guys have these things. I'm thinkin' about getting one of these things. probably the 4gb NANO. Can I upload ANY MP3 to these things or is it only the ones i download using ITunes that will work? Also, whats up with the ITrip? thats really what i wanna use it for. I just wanna use it for my car.

You can upload any MP3's onto it, they just need to be imported into iTunes. The iTrip is an FM receiver that sends your iPod's music to a dead radio station

is there any problem importing into iTunes? like with copyright, etc. how long does the battery on an iPod generally last? is there a car charger available for it? when i look up iPods online i come up with a bunch of people who modify them or already know this stuff so they dont talk about it.

yep. the key to using the iPod is all though iTunes. It's very easy to use, but make sure to name your files properly via ID3 tag.

I don't know how long the NANO battery lasts but my 3rd gen would last in the 6 hour range...now it lasts in the hour to 2 hour range due to too much charging...

nooooooooooope.

you install iTunes and every time you connect your iPod, the application autolaunches.

from there you see a listing of the songs currently on your pod.

drag and drop to add new songs.

make sure you're good about charging. If you do charge, let it go till full, never partial.

I'd have to say mine is good for about 6 to 8 hours. (depending on volume)

yep. Lots.

Only trust Belkin or Apple brand only. The no-namers and ebay budget ones often aren't profesionally rated and tested. They might send too much current to the iPod and burn it out.

Not sure what you'd modify it for though. The only thing I can see doing is changing the graphics.
