Default Thinking about

So im thinking about painting my other front bumper this weekend, and I dont know if I want to do the OEM lip as well this weekend OR if I should wait and do my molding into my bumper I have on the car now and paint that later on too.

That was confusing.

But heres the lip.

don't mold anything to the bumper.. that's just asking for trouble..

i don't know.. i could think of several potentials..

- what if you need to remove the lip one day for whatever reason?
- what if you damage the lip and need to replace it?
- what if you happen to bottom out and smack the lip? how will the filler hold up?
- how will the filler hold up to vibrations?

etc. etc.

i don't know.. i think the OEM lips look great without being molded in anyway...

I too would never mold the lip to the bumper, but that's just me.

Well those are some things we thought about and the lip itself is only $160, and I have a spare front bumper. SO we were thinking about painting the extra bumper I have now, minus the lip, and experimenting with the other bumper.

Don't waste a perfectly good back-up bumper
