Default Fog lights question

I was home bored last night so I decided to install the extra HID set I had into my fog lights. My question is, since i need to adjust them how high should the beam be? If I stand in front of the lights should it be like half way between my ankle and knee?

The pattern should not go any higher than your knees at about 50-75 feet away, otherwise they will be blinding oncoming drivers. Foglights are meant to light the road UNDER the fog.
