I just got out of a meeting with the CIO and all sorts of directors (applications, marketing, channel marketing, etc) ... now I go back to my cube and tell everyone what was discussed in the meeting ... that they weren't invited to.

well, my "co-workers" are pissed at me.
I'm now not only managing a staff of 10 and working on the high profile shit, I'm now told (by the applications director) to give my "equals" direction and they're all now offically under me. I've been here for 2 years, the other have been here for 20, 18, 10, and 8.
I'm going to get killed in the parking lot today.
