take it apart and let it dry out for a few days. I think someone on here put theirs in the microwave maybe  i dont remember. But you can just let it dry out for a while.

when my calculator got water in it I had to open it all up and dry it with a hair dryer then it was 100% again

maybe the fact that your phone is motorola has something to do with it :hsugh:

Are wet phones repairable? Its the t-mobile pebl.
go to home depot/lowes and get a can of spray electronic cleaner (residue free) take your phone apart and spray the shit out of all the boards and connections ( i would stay away from the scree surface though) this stuff evaporates very quickly but give it a few hours before you put it back together. The reason why water fucks phones so bad is its salt content in the water (even if it is fresh water) once you remove any deposits left by the water that got into the phone theoreticly it should work again. I saved a phone that was dropped in the ocean this way. make sure you clean it thoroughly.

i would say you have a 80% chance of saving it. the longer you wait, the more corosion and the harder it is to get the boards properly working again. btw, its not electronic duster, its electronic cleaner, its a liquid spray kinda like brake cleaner in a way but much much cleaner. they will know what you are talking about. if they dont have any, try radio shack, i know they carry it.

i recently went swimming with my phone, so i let it dry out with a hair dryer and let it sit awile and it still wouldnt work, i had phone insurance on it, told them that it got stolen cause if it was water damage they wouldnt replace it, still had to pay them 5o bucks for a new one though, better than 300 i guess, so for 50 bucks i got like 3 more phone chargers, an extra battery, and some other things, most phone companys wont warranty a phone that has been soaked in water, theres i little paper like strip on the inside that will change a different color when it gets wet, so that is how they could tell.
