you're stuck then, can't change booktype if I remember correctly. Well, at least I tried on the DVD+DL. May work on the the regular +R. Go to their website:
www.drvupdate.com and DL their tool DVD BitSetting V1.05. Use it to change the booktype.

but that still doesnt make much sense. I have been able to burn with +Rs for a long time with no problem

How do I burn some tv episodes onto a dvd? Most shows will be 1 to a DVD, if it will even fit..

Nope i've made several NAruto DVD's...the whole Full Metal Alchemist series

That's what im going to do...I actually have one...i just am going to hold off until i start building my media PC
