True that. The one I always had a loose belt. Neither myself or the corner mechanic could get it from squeeking. One actually broke and dented the hood. Tranny seemed fine, but it might be an automatic problem

The car wasn't even that fun to drive, and it was the 5-speed. And automatic would be so underpowered that it would be horrible. The suspension was numb and unimpressive.

After about a week. The car wouldn't start every other time. Replaced starter (because of stupid autozone guy) which did nothing. When we took it to a shop, the only thing they found was a loose battery terminal (that happened after the problems, ie my fault.) Never actually did it after that though

Overall the car seemed to have poor build quality. The interior reaked of plastic everywhere, and rattled and squeeked more than my 87 Porsche. Both cars cost $3k and I have to say that my Porsche was about 10 fold as much car in terms of performance, comfort, ease of maintaince, reliability, and fun-to-drive.

Timing belt snapps at 40k, blown headgasket, weak synchros, pressure hose for ps always blows, endless cooling issues.

I'd build a first gen gsx for drag, but that's where it ends for me.

I wouldn't EVER daily drive that POS
