No mods... I've come to realize that if you tinker with anything at all it drastically reduces the value of the car. Stock is what people want nowadays so if I ever want to sell it I'd like it to be in the same condition as it was when I bought it (besides the mileage of course).

Indeed true. I haven't even touched mine for the fear of that.

my roommate had just about the most thorougly and drastically modified saab spg on the planet, and he just kept all the stock parts in the basement. When he was ready to move on, he brought everything back to stock and actually sold it for the same price he bought it for (like 4 years and lots of miles later). Old saabs are kinda a niche market, but still, most people wont be able to tell if you bring everything back to stock and the car still runs fine.

as long as you don't fry valves or jack up ring seals, bringing everything back to stock and doing a tune up should be pretty idiot-proof. The motor may be a little worn, but not enough for joe consumer to really tell.

I know a friend that turbo'd a leased 6th gen accord, he beat on it real bad, converted it back to stock, and they took it back no problem. I felt bad for the person that bought that thrashed accord. if they only knew.
